Misr Insurance (Superleague) agreed terms with 31-year old American guard Falando Jones (193cm-90kg-90, college: MVSU). The last time (19-20) he played at Haia Al Qana in Egyptian Superleague. Jones missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
His career allowed him to visit three different continents. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. Jones has played previously professionally in Finland (Porvoon Tarmo), Indonesia (Hang Tuah and Laskar Dreya) and Saudi Arabia (Al Fateh).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Saudi Arabian League in 2019. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-ASEAN League Honorable Mention back in 2014.
Jones attended Mississippi Valley State University until 2012 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
