Jazmine Perkins

Egyptian Shooting Club (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American 178cm swingman Jazmine Perkins, college: WSU for upcoming season. Perkins played most recently at Misr Insurance.

The previous (19-20) season she played at BBC Les Portes du Soleil Troistorrents in Swiss SBL where in 17 games she recorded 13.2ppg, 7.5rpg, 5.1apg (top 3) and 4.1spg (in top 2). Great season indeed as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swiss SBL 2nd Team and All-Imports Team.

She is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Bulgaria (Beroe and Haskovo 2012), Finland (Huima and HyPo), Greece (Proteas), Israel (Maccabi Ramat Gan), Poland (Konin) and Sweden (Eskinstuna).

Perkins won Swedish BasketEttan Group South championship title in 2013.
She attended Washington State University until 2012 and it will be her tenth season in pro basketball.

The scouts decsribe her following way: Jazmine Perkins is a competitive fast athletic combo guard, aggressive attack the rim , defensive minded player. She gives 100% effort on defense and think it's the most important part of her role on the floor. Perkins is a very quick scorer taking you to the basket or even shooting mid-range and three point shots. Creating looks too the basket for herself and her teammates is what she enjoys the most. Perkins is one of the best defensive players in her class. She had the physical ability to contain the ball, contest shots, rebounds and steal the ball constantly for a easy two or three point play. Her unselfish plays are key to winning ball games. She goes out and does whatever is necessary or whatever she possibly can to try to make team successful.
