Al Zamalek signs Randi Brown, ex Haukar

Al Zamalek (Superleague) signed 24-year old American guard Randi Brown (170-96, college: New Orleans). She joins another USA player Shayla Cooper who is already in the roster.
Brown played last season at Haukar in Icelandic Dominos League. In 16 games she was league's second best scorer with impressive 27.3ppg and averaged 7.6rpg, 4.1apg and 2.9spg. 2019-2020 was a great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League 2nd Team, All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week.
The previous (18-19) season she played at HyPo in Finnish Korisliiga where in 34 games she was the best scorer with remarkable 24.3ppg and had 6.4rpg, 3.6apg and 2.0spg. Brown helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. 2018-2019 was a great season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Finnish League Guard of the Year, named to 1st Team and named to All-Imports Team.
She graduated from University of New Orleans in 2018 and it will be her third season as a professional player.
Brown could be described: Randi is a combo guard that can cover both guard positions. A scoring guard that can score with multiple ways and be a leader for her team. Randi is running the floor well, is a good ball handler and can create for her teammates.
