Jaylen Barford

Defending champion Al Ettehad Alexandria (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American guard Jaylen Barford (191-92kg-96, college: Arkansas). He played in the summer at Jackson TN UnderDawgs (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Barford ended the last season at Virtus Roma (Italian Serie A) in Italian league where in only one game he had 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. But the most of that year he spent at Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro (Italian Serie A) in Italian league. In 20 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.1apg and 1.6spg. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Honorable Mention.
Barford has played also professionally in NBA G League (Greensboro Swarm).
Among many awards Barford's team made it to the SEC Tournament Semifinals in 2018. He received also USBasket.com All-TBT 1st Team award in 2019.
He attended University of Arkansas until 2018 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
