Al Zohour signs Chris Johnson, ex Duhok

Al Zohour SC (Superleague) signed 29-year old American guard Chris Johnson (192-88kg-91, college: St.Catharine). He played last season at Duhok in Iraqi Superleague. In 11 games he was league's third best scorer with impressive 22.2ppg and averaged 9.4rpg (#5 in the league) and 2.8apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
Johnson has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Boca Juniors), Cyprus (Koop Spor) and Georgia (Cactus).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Johnson's team was regular season runner-up in Cyprus Super Ligi in 2019. He was also voted Eurobasket.com Cyprus Super Ligi All-Imports Team in 2019.
Johnson attended St. Catharine College until 2016 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
