Cori Coleman (ex Halle) joins Al Gezira

Al Gezira Cairo (D1) agreed terms with 27-year old American guard Cori Coleman (173-93, college: Cleveland State). She played last season at Gisa Lions SV Halle in German DBBL. In 21 games she had 12.6ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.6spg. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week.
The most of previous (2018-19) season Coleman spent at BG 74 Veilchen Ladies Goettingen (also in DBBL) where in 23 games she recorded 13.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.5spg. Quite impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-German DBBL 2nd Team and League Player of the Week. Coleman also spent pre-season at Grengewald in Luxembourg league.
Coleman has played previously professionally in Finland (ViVe) and Morocco (ACK Amal Belksiri).
Her team made it to the Horizon League Tournament Semifinals in 2015.
She attended Cleveland State until 2015 and it will be her sixth season as a professional player.
