Maxi Munanga (ex ES Sahel) joins Zamalek

Defending champion Al Zamalek (Superleague) agreed terms with 26-year old Congolese international guard Maxi Munanga (191-93kg-93). He started the season at ES Sahel in Tunisian Nationale A.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Munanga won Moroccan League championship title in 2018. He was also voted Afrobasket.com All-FIBA AfroCan 1st Team in 2019.
Munanga represented DR Congo at the Afrobasket Championships three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 10.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg, FGP-2 (75.0%), 3PT: 23.5%, FT: 54.5%.
Munanga has played also professionally in Morocco (AS Sale), DR Congo (Molokai) and Gabon (Tali Somo).
On Munanga: A powerful playmaker who can spend some time at SG position too.
