Erving Walker
Defending champion Al Zamalek (Superleague) agreed terms with 29-year old American point guard Erving Walker (173-80kg-90, college: Florida,). He played last season at Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkish BSL league. In 28 games he had 12.1ppg, 1.3rpg and 3.3apg. Walker also played 16 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded 12.1ppg, 1.1rpg and 2.1apg. He helped them to make it to the quarterfinals.
The previous (2018) summer Walker played at Team Fancy in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Walker's team won SEC East Division Regular Season in 2011. He was also voted All-SEC 2nd Team for three consecutive years between 2010 and 2012 at his college time.
Walker is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (JDA Dijon, SIG Strasbourg and Chalon/Saor), Italy (Veroli) and Poland (Stelmet Enea BC).
Walker attended University of Florida until 2012 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
