Dominique Lacy
Al Geish Army (Superleague) tabbed 30-year old American forward Dominique Lacy (201-95kg-89, college: UNCW). He played most recently at Al Khor in Qatari D1 league. In 12 games he averaged 14.8ppg, 7.0rpg, 3.6apg and 1.3spg last season.
The previous (17-18) season Lacy played at Al Hilal (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league.
His team won Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Fahed Cup in 2013.
Lacy is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Lacy has played previously professionally in Bahrain, Colombia (Tayronas), Kosovo (Trepca), Luxembourg, Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis and Garra Canera de Navolato) and Saudi Arabia (Al Nasr, Al Ansar, Al Nahda and Al Salam).
He attended the University of N.Carolina - Wilmington until 2010 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
Let's have a closer look into Lacy's outlook: Dominique is a 6'7', 210-pound explosive athlete who will create high energy and excitement for any team. His energy and athleticism make him a well-rounded player who can be effective in a variety of ways. Dominique has showcased the ability to score, rebound and defend at both the collegiate and professional levels. He is a skilled rebounder and high flyer that can finish around the rim. He is also an effective mid-range and three-point shooter. During the 2008-2009 season, Dominique led the team in rebounding at 5.9 rebounds per game and scored a career-high 23 points against Appalachian State University in the season opener. During this season, he recorded five 20 point games, four double-doubles, and started 30-32 games during the season. During the 2009-2010 season, Dominique took on the role of becoming a primary defensive stopper for the Seahawks and played this role with tenacity and dedication. He posted a season-high of 19 points against VMI and finished the season with an average of 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds. In February 2011, Dominique signed with BC Mess. During his first year with BC Mess (Luxembourg), Dominique averaged 23 points and 13 rebounds per game.
