Sporting lands Amy Patton, ex Gruenberg

Alexandra Sporting Club (D1) tabbed 28-year old American guard Amy Patton (178-91, college: NAU). She played most recently at Bender Baskets Grunberg in German 2.Bundesliga. In 20 games she averaged impressive 17.1ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.4apg and 3.1spg last season. She was also selected League Player of the Week (2 times).
Part of previous (2017-18) season Patton spent at Ydra Asfalistiki ENAD Nicosia in Cypriot league. She helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. She can count that season as a very successful as was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Import Player of the Year, selected to 2nd Team and selected to 3rd Team. Patton also played for Energy in Lebanese league.
She has played previously professionally in Australia (Sabres) and France (Aulnoye).
Patton attended Northern Arizona University until 2013 and it will be her seventh season in pro basketball.
