Actually Todd replaced the former American in the team Quinton Doggett (206-F-90, college: Southern) who got released already.
Part of last season O'Brien spent at Al Gharafa (also in D1) in Qatari. He also played for Al Naser (also in D1) in UAE. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Among other achievements O'Brien received Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asia Champions Cup Honorable Mention award in 2017. He is a very experienced player. O'Brien has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). O'Brien has played previously professionally in France (Nantes), Japan, Latvia (Ventspils and Jekabpils), Lebanon (Sagesse), Poland (MKS Dabrowa Gornicza), Russia (Urartu Yerevan) and Qatar (Al Arabi).
