Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) inked 25-year old American forward Nahshon George (206-91kg-93, college: Idaho, agency: Haylett Sports). He is the second import player in the roster as Canadian Khalid Abdel-Gabar signed here earlier. George tested by Sporting in Egyptian Superleague few weeks ago. The last season he played at Hang Tuah (IBL) in league where in 22 games he was fifth best scorer with impressive 23.4ppg and recorded 12.9rpg (#5 in the league), 3.3apg, 1.7spg (in top 5) and 1.0bpg. George helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian IBL 1st Team and to the All-Star Game. Last year (a year after he left the college) George was drafted by Salt Lake City (G-League) in third round (54th overall). He attended University of Idaho until 2016 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. George has played previously professionally in Mexico (Tijuana Zonkeys) and Thailand (Thai General Equipment). Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
