Egypt edged Lebanon 71-60 at the start of the Bahrain International Tournament. They managed to win three the quarters of the game including a 16-12 in the start. Lebanoan replied with a 16-11 rally in the third quarter, while Egypt grabbed the win due to 26-17 surge in the last stanza. Ibrahim Rajab top-scored for the winners with 15 points and Yousif Wael as well as Omar Oraby had 11 each. Elie Chamoun posted 12 points in a loss, whilst Edward Bushara ended up with 11.

Egypt Champion to play African pro league binged by NBA - 1 day ago
The Basketball Africa League, a new collaboration between the NBA and the sport's global governing body FIBA, was announced Saturday.
