Quinton Day
Head coach of Al Gezira Cairo Mohamed El-Kerdany is leading his team in a new challenge after two weeks as Al Gezira Cairo will be representing Egypt in Arab Club Championship hosted by AS Sale in Morocco starting 23rd of October till 02 nd of November 2017.

Geriza had inked two american import players especially for the tournament as Egyptian league is not allowing import players this season.

Quinton Day (185-G-84, college: UMKC) and Jalen Robinson had arrived to team daily practices in Cairo only couple of days ago and participated with Al Gezira Cairo in three friendly games.

It worth mentioning that Coach Kerdany is considered as legend in Egyptian basketball as he lead Egyptian national team and Al Gezira Cairo to several titles during past years as a player and after his retirement two years ago he succeeded to lead Al Gezira Cairo to the title of Egyptian super league in 2016/2017 season in his first mission as a Head coach.
