Sporting Alexandria clinch Superleague title - Apr 12, 2015

Sporting Alexandria celebrated the Superleague title. They finished the Golden Four stage with 7 wins in 8 games and occupied the top position in the ladder. Sporting regained the trophy they lost to Al Gezira last season. Sporting finished their Golden Four campaign with a hard-fought 75:70 victory over Al Gezira to ensure the top place finish. Al Gezira finished second at 5-3 record, while Al Ittihad occupied the third position at 3-5.

Sporting Alexandria celebrated the Egyptian Cup title. They overcame Al Ittihad in the exciting Final. The game was held in Port Said. It was a close battle from start to finish. Sporting eked out a 19:18 lead after the opening quarter. They boosted the gap in the second frame. Sporting ensured a 42:35 halftime advantage. Al Ittihad cut the distance at 6-point mark at the final intermission. But Sporting managed to hold on to the lead. Ahmed Merhi team marched to the third straight Cup success at the end.
