Zamalek clinched the League title. They fired past Gezira in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to conquer the trophy. Gezira managed to come back from 0-2 deficit in the Finals to force decider. They claimed a road 76:65 win in Game 4 to send the series into Game 5. But Zamalek took advantage of the fast start in the game and ran away with a comfortable victory at the end.
