Al Ahly celebrate the title - May 3, 2016


Al Ahly celebrated the title in the Egyptian League posting the fifth win at the Final Round. They overcame Al Gezira 68:54 and won the League with a 5-1 record.
Sporting managed to finish second with a 3-3 record. In the last game they beat Al Zamalek 62:55 as the latter also ended up on the last spot. Al Gezira finished third with a 3-3 record as well.

Sporting Alexandria wins Egypt's Basketball Cup - Jan 22, 2016


Ahly SC lost Egypt's Basketball Cup to Sporting Alexandria Club in the final match held at the Suez Canal Authority's stadium.

The score was (61-61); which resulted in the game going to overtime, where Sporting Alexandria managed to beat Al-Ahly with a final score of (81-87).

Al-Ahly managed to reach this match thanks to its win against Ittihad Alexandria club, where they scored (84-89).

This cup considered the forth ion row for the Alexandria Sporting club

On another hand the main league finals will start next week (30-01-2016) at Sharm el Shiekh with Six teams competing on the title : Ahly, Zamalek, Sporting, Itthad, Gezira and Army
