FAP rally past ASB Makomeno in WBLA Qualifiers Group C

FAP claimed the first win in the Women’s Basketball League Africa Qualifying Group C. They rolled past ASB Makomeno at the Gymnase Multisports de la Police Nationale. Damaris Emedie (192-C-2007) came up with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners.
ASB Makomeno claimed a 13-8 lead after ten minutes. FAP responded with a 21-10 rally in the second frame to gain a 29-23 halftime lead. The Cameroonian powerhouse followed with a 26-15 rally in the third term to boost the margin at 17-point mark. They held the hosts to just 11 points in the fourth period to race to the win. Chinelo Ibeh had 13 points for the winners. Abigael Kongolo tossed in 10 points for ASB Makomeno.
