APR survived late comeback to win against C.N.S.S. at the Women's Basketball League Africa. The Rwandan side grabbed a 73-68 win in Dakar.
Both teams exchanged the wins in the first half as the third quarter was decisive in the game. APR needed a 26-15 surge and did not mind a 19-23 loss in the last stanza.
Shaina Pellington (173-G-1999, college: Arizona) stepped up with 16 points and Italee Lucas (172-G-1989, college: UNC) netted 14. Gracia Nguz (1992) replied with 16 points in the losing effort.
