ASB Makomeno posted last-minute victory over FAP at the Women's Basketball League-Africa Qualifiers. They nailed a 74-72 win in Cameroon. Both teams exchanged the wins in the first half as ASB Makomeno led 2 points at the halftime. FAP managed to win the third period 16-12, whilst ASB Makomeno grabbed a total win due to a 14-10 rally in the last stanza.
Mary Chawayipira (179-F-1997) and Laura Ilunga (2002) stepped up with 13 points each, whilst Milove Samba (2006) netted 12. Cynthia WILLIAMS AMAYABA replied with 16 points in a loss.
