Liliane Ikete (ex Flamurtari) is a newcomer at Melilla

Club Deportivo La Salle Melilla (LF Challenge) strengthened their roster with addition of 18-year old Congolese international center Liliane Ikete (190cm-2005) for season 2023-24. Ikete is the second import player in the roster as Slovakian Tereza Sedlakova signed here earlier.
She has played for the last two seasons at Flamurtari in Albanian Superliga. In 23 games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 10.6rpg (#5 in the league), 1.3apg and 1.0spg last season. She helped them to win the League title and the Supercup. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times). She also played 11 games in Liga Unike where she averaged 13.5ppg and 10.5rpg. Ikete contributed to her team making it to the Liga Unike final after they ended regular season as second best team. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike Young Player of the Year, League Player of the Week and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike Second Team. She was called to Congolese Senior National Team this year.
Ikete has played also professionally in DR Congo (Hatari).
