C.N.S.S. overcame APR for the 7th place in Maputo at the Champions Cup. The team from Congo DR posted a final 72-52 win. C.N.S.S. to a 24-12 lead at the start and added a 21-11 rally in the second frame. Both teams exchanged the barrow wins in the second half for the final result.
Marlene Ngobeleza (168-G-1995) top-scored for the winners with 14 points and Deborah Mayimona produced 13. Marie Imanizabayo (SF-1996) replied with massive 26 points in the losing effort.
