Ferroviario Maputo clinched the African Champions Cup semifinal berth. They beat CNSS in the last quarterfinal battle of the day in Maputo. Dulce Mabjaia (165-PG-1988) stepped up with 21 points to pace the hosts.
Ferroviario Maputo held their opponents to just 2 points in the first period to jump at 13-point lead. They sank 23 points in the second quarter to open a comfortable 38-14 halftime lead. Ferroviario Maputo maintained the lead throughout the second half. They entered the fourth stanza up by 32 points and never looked back en route to the win. Anabela Cossa (172-G-1986) had 13 points for the home team. Marlene Ngobeleza (168-G-1995) and Deborah Mayimona tossed in 10 points each for CNSS.
