Leganes land Chanel Mokango

LF Endesa newcomer Laboratorios Ynsadiet Lagenes tabbed 32-year old Congolese ex-international 188cm power forward Chanel Mokango (college: MSU) for new season. Mokango has played for the last three years at Aluinvent DVTK Miskolc in Hungarian A Division. In 26 games she averaged 11.7ppg and 6.7rpg last season. She helped them to make it to the cup final. Mokango also played 3 games in Eurocup where she had 9.0ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.0apg.
In 2010 she was drafted by Atlanta Dream (WNBA) in first round (9th overall).
She attended Mississippi State University and it will be her twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball. Mokango was a member of Congolese Senior National Team between 2017 and 2019.
She is a very experienced player. Mokango has played also professionally in Belgium, Turkey, WNBA (LA Sparks), Spain (Zamarat, Gernika and Promete) and Hungary (Cegledi).
Among many awards she played in the final of Hungarian League in 2019. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League 1st Team in 2019.
