Toulouse welcomes back Lokoka

Toulouse Metropole Basket (LF2) landed 31-year old naturalized Congolese 184cm forward Lorraine Lokoka, agency: Basket Promotion Agency for new season. She is the second foreigner player in the roster as Swedish Kalis Loyd signed here earlier.
It is actually Lokoka's comeback to Toulouse as she has played here before. She played most recently at Villeneuve D'Ascq ESB Lille Metropole in the LFB. LFB was a little too high level for her, where in three games she averaged just 0.3ppg and 1.3rpg in 2019-20 season. LF2 will be definitely a better match and she can see more playing time.
The previous (18-19) season Lokoka played at Angers - Union Feminine Basket 49. In 21 LF2 games she had 12.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.4apg and 1.9spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. She can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
She was a member of French U20 National Team between 2008 and 2009.
Lokoka has played previously for five other teams: Bourges, Reims, Rennes, Bourges Basket 2nd team and Aulnoye.
Among many awards Lokoka played in the final of French LF2 in 2011, 2012 and 2018.
