Harriet Nahwezhi-Bende agreed terms with Namur for the 21-22 season

Basket Namur Capitale (Top Division Women) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old former Belgian-DR Congolese international 186cm center Harriet Nahwezhi-Bende. She started the season at Rutronik Stars Keltern in German DBBL. In 10 games she recorded 4.4ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.3apg. Nahwezhi-Bende helped them to win the DBBL title.
She was also a member of Belgian international program for some years. Nahwezhi-Bende played for Belgian Senior National Team between 2011 and 2018 and previously for U20 National Team between 2012 and 2014.
She also represented Belgium at the World Championships in Tenerife (Spain) three years ago. Nahwezhi-Bende's team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 3 games: 0.7ppg.
Nahwezhi-Bende has played also professionally in France (Limoges and USO Mondeville 2nd team), Belgium (Spirou) and Spain (Rioja).
