Ginette Mfutila

Reims Basket Feminin (LF2) agreed terms with 32-year old Congolese international power forward Ginette Mfutila (190-88, agency: Promotex). She played last season at Enea AZS Poznan in Polish EBLK. In 21 games she had 14.2ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.3spg last season. Good year as she was named League Player of the Week.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Mfutila won Nigerian League championship title in 2018. She was also voted Afrobasket.com All-African Champions Cup 1st Team in 2018.
Mfutila represented DR Congo at the African Championships in Bamako (Mali) nine years ago.
She has played also professionally in Algeria (GS Petroliers), Nigeria (First Bank) and DR Congo (Amical).
On Mfutila: Ginette is a versatile offensive player with solid mid-range game and power in the post move.Great presence in both boards,she can dominate with quickness and ability to uses her body. Great transition from the african game to the european league where she's doing strong season.
