Harriet Nahwezhi-Bende

Gruener Stern Keltern (DBBL) signed 24-year old Belgian international center Harriet Nahwezhi-Bende (186-94, agency: Octagon Europe). She is a dual citizen owning also DR Congolese passport. Nahwezhi-Bende has played for the last two seasons at Rioja in Spanish LF2 league. In 25 games she had 13.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3bpg last season.
She has been also a member of Belgian international program for some years. Nahwezhi-Bende has regularly played for Belgian senior team since 2011 and previously for U20 National Team between 2012 and 2014.
She also represented Belgium at the World Championships in Tenerife (Spain) last year. Nahwezhi-Bende's team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 3 games: 0.7ppg.
Nahwezhi-Bende has played previously professionally in France (Limoges and USO Mondeville II) and Belgium (Spirou Ladies Charleroi).
