PAULINE AKONGA NSIMBO

Union Saint-Amand Porte du Hainaut (LFB) confirmed in their roster experienced 37-year old Congolese ex-international center Pauline Akonga Nsimbo (188-82, agency: LBM Management). She was a team leader there last season. In 27 LFB games she had very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.3apg. Great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
The previous (17-18) season Akonga Nsimbo played at Villeneuve D'Ascq. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and she was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 25 games she recorded 11.6ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.4apg. Akonga Nsimbo helped them to make it to the Supercup final. Good season as she was also here named League Player of the Week. She also played 13 games in Euroleague where she averaged 11.7ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.2apg. Good season as she was also here named League Player of the Week. Akonga Nsimbo also played 2 games in Eurocup where she got remarkable 15.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.0apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Akonga Nsimbo's team won African Champions Cup in 2016. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Forward of the Year back in 2011. Akonga Nsimbo was a member of Congolese Senior National Team two years ago.
She is quite experienced player. Akonga Nsimbo has played in six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in Belgium (Belfius Namur), Portugal (Olivais), WNBA (Houston C.), Angola (Inter-Clube) and Mozambique (CFM Ferroviaro Maputo).
It's very possible she may end her playing career at Hainaut.
