Chanel Mokango (ex Belfius Namur) agreed terms with Orman

Orman Genclik (TKB2L) inked 25-year old DR Congolese forward Chanel Mokango (196-88, college: Mississippi State). In her first game she scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds helping her new team beat Izmir BSB 98-55. She played most recently at Belfius Namur in Belgian Division I. In 7 games she recorded 9.0ppg and 6.4rpg that season.
Three years ago Mokango was drafted by Atlanta Dream (WNBA) in first round (9th overall).
The former Mississippi State standout is in her fourth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Mokango's team won Belgian League Regular Season in 2012. She received also SEC All-Defensive Team award back in 2009 and 2010 at her college time. Mokango represented DR Congo at the World Championships U19 eight years ago.
She has played previously professionally in WNBA (Los Angeles Sparks) and Turkey (Mersin).
