Al Khaleej adds Boungou-Colo to their roster, ex Antibes

Nobel Boungou-Colo

Al Khaleej (Division 1) added to their roster experienced 35-year old French-Congolese ex-international forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202cm-1988) for season 2023-24. Boungou-Colo played last season at Sharks Antibes in French ProB. In 31 games he recorded 13.8ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.5apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
The most of previous (2021-22) season he spent at Entente Orleans 45 (Betclic ELITE ProA) in France where in 14 games he averaged impressive 15.4ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg in that year. He also played for Metropolitans (Betclic ELITE ProA) in France. In 9 games he had 6.6ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.1apg in that year. Boungou-Colo also played 5 games in Eurocup where he got 4.2ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.4apg in that year.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014. Boungou-Colo was a member of French Senior National Team between 2014 and 2015.
He is quite experienced player. Boungou-Colo has played also professionally in Italy (Torino), Russia (Khimki), Spain (Joventut and Real Betis) and France (Le Mans, Sluc Nancy, Hyeres-Toulon, ADA Blois and Paris Basket). He was voted to French ProA All-Star Game back in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
His team won Italian Cup in 2018.
