Boulazac tabs Max Kouguere

Boulazac Basket Dordogne (Jeep ELITE ProA) inked experienced 34-year old Central African-Congolese international small forward Max Kouguere (198cm). He started the season at ES Sahel in Tunisian ProA.
The most of last season Kouguere spent at Saint Chamond in French ProB where in 12 games he averaged 5.3ppg and 2.5rpg. He also played for SPO Rouen in French ProB. In 5 games he had 3.6ppg and 2.8rpg.
Kouguere has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
He also represented Central Africa at the Afrobasket Championships four years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 14.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 36.4%, 3PT: 35.3%, FT: 72.7%.
Kouguere is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Spain (La ICL Manresa), Switzerland (Geneve), France (Pau Lacq Orthez, Olympique Antibes, Le Mans, STB Le Havre and Entente Orleans 45) and Congo-Brazaville (InterClub).
Among many awards he played in the final of French ProA in 2012. Kouguere received also Afrobasket.com All-African Championships Honorable Mention award back in 2015.
