Orleans could keep Oniangue for another season

Newly promoted Entente Orleans 45 (Jeep ELITE ProA) is about to re-sign 29-year old naturalized Congolese small forward Giovan Oniangue (196-91). He played there last season. In 25 Jeep ELITE ProA games he averaged 7.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg.
The previous (18-19) season Oniangue played at Gravelines Dunkerque where in five Jeep ELITE ProA games he had 3.6ppg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He represented France at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 14.8ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.0apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 45.5%, 3PT: 26.8%, FT: 57.9%.
Oniangue has played previously for two other teams: Levallois and Boulazac Basket.
Among many awards Oniangue received Afrobasket.com All-African Championships Honorable Mention award back in 2013.
