Bahcesehir inks Dwight Hardy

Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul (BSL) agreed terms with 32-year old American (has also Congolese passport) shooting guard Dwight Hardy (188-89kg-87, college: St.John's). He played last season at Limoges CSP Elite in French Jeep ELITE ProA. In 36 games he had 13.3ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.3apg. Hardy also played 16 games in Eurocup where he recorded 12.5ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.9apg.
The previous (17-18) season he played at Galatasaray. In 30 BSL games he averaged 12.6ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.0apg. Hardy also played 16 games in Eurocup where he got 13.5ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.9apg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Hardy played in the final of EuroChallenge in 2015. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Honorable Mention back in 2016.
Hardy has played previously professionally in Italy (Basket Barcellona) and Turkey (Trabzonspor).
He attended St. John's University until 2011 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
Hardy could be described: A talented guard with great scoring skills and the typical personality of the NY players. Loves to shot and can earn lots of fouls, in his first professional season he showed a great leadership and team mentality that could grant him a bright career.
