Boulogne keeps Akono for another season

LOIC AKONO

SO Maritime Boulogne (NM1) re-signed 32-year old naturalized Congolese point guard Loic Akono (176-87). He played there last season. In 41 NM1 games he recorded 9.8ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.0apg and 1.4spg.
The previous (17-18) season Akono played at Entente Orleans 45 (ProB) where in 29 games he averaged 5.7ppg, 1.1rpg and 2.7apg. He helped them to make it to the cup final.
Among other achievements Akono won French ProB championship title in 2011 and 2014. He received also Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention award back in 2008 and 2014.
Akono has played previously for five other teams: Gravelines Dunkerque, Etendard de Brest, Provence Basket, JSF Nanterre and Lille Metropole.
