JAMES MAYS
Here is the weekly review of the top performing Central African players, who play currently abroad.

James Mays
James Mays
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson, currently plays in South Korea). He led LG Sakers to a victory over the closely-ranked DB Promy (19-21) 110-105 in the South Korean KBL in Wednesday night's game. Mays was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 10 rebounds in 42 minutes on the court. Changwon LG Sakers (21-18) are placed fourth in the KBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Mays has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 26.3ppg, 13.5rpg, 1.7apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 54.4%, 3FGP: 25.0% and FT: 55.4% in 39 games he played so far. Mays is a naturalized American. He played for the Central African senior national team six years ago. Strangely Mays has never played in Central Africa.

Johndre Jefferson
Johndre Jefferson
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-88, agency: Inception Sports, college: S.Carolina, currently plays in Basketball Champions League). He contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Fribourg (3-10) crushing them 84-64 in the Basketball Champions League last Wednesday. Jefferson recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks. PAOK Thessaloniki (8-5) is placed third in group B. His team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Jefferson's overall stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.0apg, 2.5bpg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 61.5%. He is a naturalized American. Jefferson is in the roster of the Central African senior national team. Apparently he has never played in Central Africa.

Max Kouguere
Max Kouguere

Kouguere managed to help Sharks Antibes in a victory against the closely-ranked Le Portel (6-13) 78-63 in the French Jeep ELITE on Friday night. He recorded only one point and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. Sharks Antibes (5-12) is placed 15th in the Jeep ELITE. This year Kouguere's overall stats are: 5.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 37.1%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 57.1% in 19 games. He has a dual citizenship: Congolese and Central African. Kouguere is also a member of the Central African senior national team.
