JOHNDRE JEFFERSON
Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Central Africans who are currently playing abroad.

Johndre Jefferson
Johndre Jefferson
#1. This week's number one is an international power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-88, agency: Inception Sports, college: S.Carolina, currently plays in Croatia). He led Cibona to a victory over the closely-ranked KK Vrijednosnice Osijek (4-3) 89-71 in the Croatian Premijer Liga in Friday night's game. Jefferson was MVP of the game. He recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in a mere 19 minutes on the court. KK Cibona VIP Zagreb (6-1) is placed second in the Premijer Liga. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Jefferson averages: 9.0ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 64.1%(25-39) and FT: 81.3% in seven games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Jefferson is currently a member of the Central African senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Central Africa.

James Mays
James Mays
#2. Second place goes to former international power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson, currently plays in South Korea). Mays was the main contributor in a 3-point LG Sakers' victory against the sixth-ranked SK Knights (8-7) 80-77 in the South Korean KBL last Sunday. He was the best player in that game. Mays recorded a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 17 rebounds. Changwon LG Sakers (9-6) are placed second in the KBL. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Mays has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 28.2ppg, 13.9rpg, 1.9apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 61.3%(147-240), 3FGP: 29.2% and FT: 53.3%. Mays is a naturalized American. He played for the Central African national team in 2013. Apparently Mays has never played in Central Africa.

Max Kouguere
Max Kouguere
#3. The Central African player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Max Kouguere (198-87, currently plays in France). He contributed to a Olympique Antibes' surprising victory against the eighth-ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (5-5) 83-73 in the French ProA on Friday night. Kouguere recorded 11 points and had 3 steals in 31 minutes. Sharks Antibes (2-8) is placed 15th in the ProA. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Kouguere's overall stats are: 6.4ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 27.8%, 3FGP: 39.0% and FT: 54.5% in 10 games. He has a dual citizenship: Congolese and Central African. Kouguere is also a member of the Central African senior national team.

Jimmy Djimrabaye
Jimmy Djimrabaye
#4. Power forward Jimmy Djimrabaye (202-92, currently plays in France) managed to help Quimper UJAP to win against the 16th-ranked Lille Metropole (2-4) 85-84 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game. He scored only 4 points. Quimper UJAP (2-4) is placed 12th in the ProB. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Djimrabaye's first season with the team. Djimrabaye's total stats this year are: 6.8ppg and 3.7rpg. He is also Central African national team player.

We bring you last week's top performances from Central Africans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward James Mays (205-86). He could not help one of league's weakest teams LG Sakers (30-24) in their last game.
