JOHNDRE JEFFERSON

KK Cibona VIP Zagreb (Premijer Liga) landed 29-year old Central African international power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-102kg-88, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports). He played in the summer at Overseas Elite (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Jefferson has played there for the last three years. He helped them to win the league title. Among other achievements he received Eurobasket.com All-Italian LNP Gold 2nd Team award back in 2015. Jefferson was called up to Central African Senior National Team this year.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Jefferson experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Jefferson has played previously professionally in Israel (Maccabi Kiryat Gat and Elitzur Ramla), Slovakia (Iskra Svit), Turkey (Konyaspor and Afyon Bld), Italy (Dolomiti Energia Trento) and IBL (Salem S.).
He attended University of South Carolina until 2011 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.

Ivory Coast are a victory away from qualifying for the FIBA World Cup after beating Rwanda 87-60, while Central African Republic's bid was ended by Nigeria on Saturday.
