Senegal - Central Africa 72-51

Senegal edged Central Africa 72-51 at the Stadium Marius Ndiaye for the Preparations Playoffs World Cup 2019. They took a 12-7 lead after the first 5 minutes and enjoyed a 6-point lead after the first quarter. Senegal never looked behind and pushed the tempo for good later in the game. They reached 41-25 lead at the halftime and had 61-36 advantage after three quarters.
Ibrahima Thomas (213-F-87, college: Cincinnati) top-scored for the winners with 19 points, while Gorgui Dieng (211-C-90, college: Louisville) poured in 11. Johndre Jefferson (207-C/F-88, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 12 points and Johan Grebongo (204-F/C-94) followed him with 10.

Ivory Coast are a victory away from qualifying for the FIBA World Cup after beating Rwanda 87-60, while Central African Republic's bid was ended by Nigeria on Saturday.
