JL Bourg Basket (ProB) landed 30-year old naturalized Central African point guard Michael Mokongo (180-86). He has played for the last two years at AS Monaco Basket in ProB. Mokongo helped his team get promotion to ProA. In 15 games he averaged 9.8ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.9apg last season. He contributed to his team winning the league title.
The previous (13-14) season Mokongo played at Planasa (LEB Gold) in Spanish league. In only one game he had very impressive stats: 20 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in 2013-14 season.
In 12-13 season he played at Apoel (Division A) in Cypriot league. In 29 games he had 7.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.1spg in 2012-13 season. He contributed to his team making it to the final. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to All-Cyprus League 2nd Team, All-Bosmans Team and All-Defensive Team.
In 11-12 season Mokongo played at Chorale de Roanne. In 28 games he had just 2.8ppg and 1.6apg in 2011-12 season. He also played 12 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had only 2.9ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.1apg in 2011-12 season. The most of previous (10-11) season Mokongo spent at Ribeira Sacra CB Breogan Lugo (LEB Gold) in Spanish league. In 20 games he had 5.4ppg, 1.5rpg, 2.7apg and 1.1spg in 2010-11 season. He also played at Ourense Termal (LEB Gold) in Spanish league that season. In 19 games he had 12.9ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.0spg in 2010-11 season. Mokongo represented France at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 12.5ppg, 2.5rpg, Assists-5 (5.0apg), 1.0spg, FGP: 40.0%, 3PT: 44.4%, FT: 77.8%.
Mokongo is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Italy (Betaland Capo d'Orlando), Turkey (Banvit Basketbol Kulubu), Spain (Leche Rio Breogan) and France (Cholet Basket, Gravelines-Dunkerque and Chalon/Saor).
Mokongo's game is described as: Very strong and quick, can defend full-court and can be very disruptive. Very good shooter who has improved play-making and leadership skills. Ready for the highest level of competition in Europe.

JIMMY DJIMRABAYE Quimper UJAP (ProB) re-signed 27-year old Central African international power forward Jimmy Djimrabaye (202-92). He played there last season. In 34 ProB games he averaged 8.0ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.4apg. The previous (17-18) season Djimrabaye played at Entente Orleans 45 where in 36 ProB games he had just 2.6ppg and 1.9rpg. We bring you last week's top performances from Central Africans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward James Mays (205-86). He could not help one of league's weakest teams LG Sakers (30-24) in their last game.
