Mickael Mokongo (180-G-86, agency: ACMT) joins APOEL Nicosia in February and became the first French basketball player who wins this trophy. APOEL won final of Cyprus championship 3-1. Mike scored 18 points for the 3rd game and gives us his feeling after his first national title of his career.

How are you after this last game?
I'm so happy. It's my first title; I enjoy a lot this moment. It's unbelievable what the basketball can bring you. I'm lucky to be on this side today. I want to enjoy this moment and get this experience to continue my way of professional basketball player.

How was the final?
It was incredible. The fans are amazing here. For the last game, they were about 6.000 and the ambiance was indescribable! Ive never seen people devoted like that.

What are you doing now?
We are still in Nicosia to celebrate! I just see the awards and Im very happy for my teammate Brandon heath, he deserves his title! Philip Dozet too. It wasnt easy everyday for us but we worked hard to reach our goal.

What could we wish you?
Thanks god, I play basketball and I won Cyprus championship. 6 months ago I was not sure to be in this situation! So now, I want to continue my way. We are only the 26th of April. Im ready and motivate to finish the season with another team maybe to win a second title this season!
