Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Central Africans who are currently playing abroad.

Kevarrius Hayes
Kevarrius Hayes
#1. This week's number one is former international center Kevarrius Hayes (206-1997, college: Florida, currently plays in Turkey). He contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Afyon Bld (4-25) crushing them 94-59 in the Turkish BSL in Sunday night's game. Hayes had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 27 minutes on the court. Frutti Extra Bursaspor (16-12) is placed seventh in the BSL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Hayes averages: 9.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.3bpg, 2FGP: 56.8%(88-155), 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 74.7% in 26 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Hayes played for the Central African senior national team year ago. Strangely he has never played in Central Africa.

Max Kouguere
Max Kouguere
#2. Second place goes to an experienced former international small forward Max Kouguere (198-1987, currently plays in BNXT-League). Kouguere could not help Phoenix Brussels (6-3) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Phoenix Brussels was edged 91-90 on the road by the higher-ranked Leeuwarden (#6). Kouguere was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 9 rebounds. Kouguere's team will play only one more game in the BNXT League Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Kouguere has relatively good stats this season: 12.8ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 52.2%, 3FGP: 35.4% and FT: 75.0%. He has a dual citizenship: Congolese and Central African. Kouguere played for the Central African national team in 21.

Johndre Jefferson
Johndre Jefferson
#3. The Central African player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-1988, agency: Inception Sports, college: S.Carolina, currently plays in Uruguay). He was not able to help Nacional (11-15) in their last game. Despite Jefferson's good performance Nacional lost 65-80 in a derby game to the higher-ranked (#5) Aguada. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Jefferson also added 9 rebounds in 40 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. This year Jefferson has relatively solid stats: 14.8ppg, 9.2rpg, 1.3apg, 1.4bpg, 2FGP: 63.9%(154-241), 3FGP: 17.6% and FT: 72.7% in 28 games. He is a naturalized American. Jefferson played for the Central African national team year ago. Apparently he has never played in Central Africa.

James Mays
James Mays
#4. Power forward James Mays (205-1986, college: Clemson, currently plays in South Korea) was not able to secure a victory for Goyang Orions (27-27) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Mays' good performance Goyang Orions were badly defeated 101-83 in Seoul by the leading SK Knights. He recorded 11 points. Mays' overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.5apg. He is a naturalized American. Mays used to play for the Central African national team back in 13. Interesting that he has never played in Central Africa.

Johan Grebongo

Grebongo had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added and 3 steals in 34 minutes. Mulhouse Basket Agglomeration (7-11) is placed eighth in Group A. Djimrabaye scored only 2 points. Jean D'Arc Vichy Clermont Metropole (16-13) is placed seventh in the ProB. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Djimrabaye's total stats this season are: 5.5ppg and 2.9rpg. He is a former international player as he played for the Central African senior team year ago.
