JAMES MAYS
Here is the weekly review of the top performing Central African players, who play currently abroad.

James Mays
James Mays
#1. This week's number one is former international power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson, currently plays in South Korea). He led LG Sakers to a surprising victory over the second-ranked ET Land Elephants (3-1) crushing them 94-70 in the South Korean KBL in Saturday night's game. Mays was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 28 points and getting 20 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. Changwon LG Sakers (1-2) are placed eighth in the KBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Mays has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 26.7ppg, 14.7rpg, 3FGP: 21.4% in three games he played so far. Mays is a naturalized American. He played for the Central African senior national team five years ago. Strangely Mays has never played in Central Africa.

Johndre Jefferson
Johndre Jefferson
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-88, agency: Inception Sports, college: S.Carolina, currently plays in Croatia). He contributed to Cibona's victory against the seventh-ranked Sibenik (1-2) 92-87 in the Croatian Premijer Liga last Monday. Jefferson scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. KK Cibona VIP Zagreb (2-0) is placed second in the Premijer Liga. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Jefferson's first year with the team. His overall stats this season are: 7.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.0bpg, 2FGP: 71.4%. Jefferson is a naturalized American. He is in the roster of the Central African senior national team. Apparently Jefferson has never played in Central Africa.

Max Kouguere
Max Kouguere
#3. The Central African player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Max Kouguere (198-87, currently plays in France). He could not help Olympique Antibes (2-4) to beat Chalon/Saor (3-3). Kouguere scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. Olympique Antibes was crushed 100-63 on the road by the higher-ranked (#8) Chalon/Saor. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Kouguere's overall stats are: 5.3ppg, 1.8rpg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 36.4% in six games. He has a dual citizenship: Congolese and Central African. Kouguere is also a member of the Central African senior national team.

Jimmy Djimrabaye
Jimmy Djimrabaye
#4. Power forward Jimmy Djimrabaye (202-92, currently plays in France) was not able to help Quimper UJAP in their game against ADA Blois (1-1) in the French ProB (second division). He scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Quimper UJAP was defeated 82-78 in Blois by the higher-ranked ADA Blois (#11). But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Djimrabaye's first season with the team. Djimrabaye's total stats this year are: 10.0ppg and 3.5rpg. He is also Central African national team player.
