The womens game have suffered on the islands. This year no clubs entered the main competition, the senior category.
The incidents from previous years, has left a scar on the womens league.
This attitude will only cause harm to the Cape Verde womens national team.

The only championship this year is in the U14 Category, with two teams from the interior of the Island.
