Crispina Headed to Angola

Cape Verdean National Team player Crispina Correia (193-F/C-75, college: Auburn) “Tininha” will be heading to Luanda, Angola, to represent the colors of Primeiro de Agosto, in the Angolan Women's basketball Championships.
The interest for power forward/center appeared during the 2007 African Championship for women held in Senegal, in which the player was named as the tournament top 5 players, and best scorer.
Tininha guarantees that she will go and giver her best in the Angolan basketball league, to try to gain a better degree of competitiveness, in the sense to be more prepared for the next commitments of the national team. The player also guarantees that in contract terms “everything has been agreed with Primeiro de Agosto”.
Tininha was honored this past Saturday by her club, Predio, where she began her basketball career. Her achievement was well recognize in the country.
