Tininha Among Africa Top 5

National team player, Crispina Correia (193-F/C-75, college: Auburn) (Tininha), was named to the tournaments first team, the selection of the best 5 players in the XX African Nations Championships for women held from the 20 to the 30 of September 2007. WNBA player, Hamchetou Maiga (MVP) from Mali, Carla Da Silva (Mozambique), Diene Diawara (Mali), and Aya Traore (Senegal), complete the first team selection.
Tininha also won the trophy for Best Scorer, boosting some morale to the Cape Verdians, who finished 9 in this year competition.
