KPA Dockers open Women’s Basketball League Africa with a win

F.A.P Women - KPA Women´s Basketball Team 64-83

KPA Women secured a convincing 83–64 victory over FAP Women after dominating the first three quarters and setting the tone early in the game. KPA opened strong with a 23–15 lead in the first quarter and continued to build momentum, extending their advantage to 44–28 by halftime. Their control remained evident in the third quarter as they outscored FAP 22–11, creating a commanding lead that proved insurmountable. Although FAP mounted a late push with a spirited 25-point fourth quarter, the gap was too large to close, and KPA comfortably sealed the win.
Sara Dickey (177-G/F-1995, college: Evansville) orchestrated the win with 23 points and Alima Doumbia (2002) netted 16. Damaris Emedie (192-C-2007) replied with 17 points in a loss.
