AfroBasket U16: Cameroon complete the Quarterfinal picture

Cameroon U16 booked the final ticket to the 2025 FIBA U16 AfroBasket Quarterfinals with a solid 62–43 win over Kenya U16. Cameroon built their advantage early, leading 34–20 at halftime after controlling both the first (17–13) and second quarters (17–7). Kenya showed fight in the second half, but Cameroon’s balanced attack and defensive intensity kept them comfortably in front, closing out the game with an 18-point fourth quarter. The victory not only secured Cameroon’s spot in the last eight but also completed the tournament’s quarterfinal lineup.
Diona Bienvenue (182-SF-2010) stepped up with 15 points and Shanice Mbaha (172-SF-2009) had 13. Rihanna Nyalando (2009) replied with 13 points in a loss.
