Cameroon U16 earned a hard-fought 44-37 victory over Morocco U16 at AfroBasket 2025. Cameroon started well with a 16-10 first quarter but slowed down in the second, scoring just five points as Morocco closed the gap to 21-19 at halftime. The game remained tight in the third, with Cameroon edging it 11-8 to rebuild a slight cushion. In the final quarter, they held firm with a 12-10 finish to seal the seven-point win. Strong defensive play and timely baskets proved decisive as Cameroon secured the low-scoring contest.
Shanice Mbaha (172-SF-2009) top-scored for the winners with 18 points, whilst Lamia H'Saina (2010) and Farah Belraam (2010) had 10 each in a loss.
