Egypt - Cameroon 68-95

Cameroon booked their place in the semifinals of AfroBasket 2025 with a commanding 95-68 victory over Egypt in the quarterfinals. The Lions took control early, racing to a 27–16 lead in the opening quarter and maintaining their advantage with a 24–21 edge in the second. Any hopes of an Egyptian comeback were crushed in the third period as Cameroon outscored their opponents 28-15, effectively sealing the contest before the final stretch, which finished level at 16-16. With a balanced attack and relentless pace, Cameroon never allowed Egypt to settle, cruising to a decisive win and sending a clear message to their semifinal rivals.
Fabien Ateba (192-G-1991) top-scored for the winners with 26 points and Jeremiah Hill (188-PG-1995, college: Valdosta St.) netted 20. Anas Mahmoud (214-C-1995, college: Louisville) answered with 14 points in a loss, whilst Mohamed Abdelrahman (184-G-1996) had 12.
